Hotel & Residence Antares

My family of 4 adults stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Antares Residences last week. We were very excited for this trip, but continually ran into issues at the hotel. The good: - Size of the Residences apartment is comfortable and large bathroom. Hotel seems newly renovated. - Beautiful view from our room - Central location near shops and supermarkets - Breakfast buffet is decent They are listed as a 4-star hotel without 4 star amenities or service. Here is the bad: - Bathroom sink did not drain. We had to stick a knife to hold the plug open just to wash our hands every day. - Dishwasher did not work and smelled inside. Requested assistance and they couldn’t figure it out. - You have to remove your own trash like an Airbnb or be fined. - Swimming pool is so small and humid. They do not provide towels. - My parents had dinner at the hotel restaurant and both had bowel issues until the next morning. We told the manager at breakfast and he responded “was it the sushi?” But that was all. - I prepaid for 4 days of 4 adult breakfast buffets but they didn’t seem to have that record strangely. One morning the manager brought me the bill and I had to correct him. Two other mornings, I requested takeaway breakfast because we had to leave very early (and they could not cancel/refund it) and they gave the most pathetic sandwiches that aren’t even fresh items from their buffet and definitely not worth $15pp. They prepared the wrong quantity another time and I had to request a refund. Just a mess!

DO NOT RECOMMEND if you don’t speak Italian and person of color. I felt uncomfortable the whole time and decided to check out early and go to another hotel next door. When I was checking out I was never asked why I wanted to leave early. Also, I had some miscommunication with the lady while checking out and her coworker mumbled something under his breath and she giggled- probably a rude remark. The breakfast staff was also avoiding giving me service- pointing and sending other waiters to give us our bill. Other than horrible staff- the rooms were great and clean. The location is also convenient- near a grocery store and gondola.

We rentend an appartement for 2 adults and 2 kids 9,12. The room was nice, huge terass and enough space. It has a sort apart kitchen room. The kitchen is good eqipped so we could easily kook. We had 2 induction cooking fields,but no oven and no dishwasher ( but i saw them in other rooms..) the pool you have to reserve, but that worked well for us…we did not use their restaurant so i cant leave a comment about that. The location is very central. Close to everything you need! The car we left in their garage, which was nice. Walking to the lift takes some minutes but its still managable. Ski room is nice! Stuff friendly and helpful! Thanks! I thinck you dont go wrong if you stay here for your ski holiday. I concider to go back there ⛷️👍😁

We stayed for 4 nights 5 days in Residence Antares August 2022 , here is my review: Hey The residence was nice . my problem was with the kicthen and the swimming pool . Issues with the Kitchen : 1) Missing Oven 2) Missing Microwave 3) Missing espresso Machine - only Maquinta was there , i am not sure how many people use this thing. 4) very small place to do the dishes 5) everything minimalisim , small washing soap for the dishes , no plastic bags for the garbage , only 1 . 6) in general the kitchen experience was bad . Swimming pool: equistics is really bad , when there are few people with kids , you can not spend there one hour . when we wanted to make shower in the swimming pool there was not shampoo neither Saboon . Games Rooms : Very minimalist for adults and kids . I expected a lot more than small plastic slide for kids and small house . and more than Ping Pong table for adults , in the evening it was very boring as all the town is closed after 19:00 . Price vs Value - is not good , i would find better place with less money , not sure i will come to this residence again as the price was so high and the return value was too low. The Room Beds was clean and comfy . The rest of the stuff in the stay was really good , amazing reception service specially from Guilia and her team . gave a lot of explanation and was really n nice.
